Mrs. Hider End of the Year Message

To the St. John Vianney Community,

It is hard to believe how quickly the school year has

passed. As my first year as principal of SJV comes to

an end, I would like to thank you for your faith, trust,

and commitment to the mission of St. John Vianney parish

School.

We wish our eighth-grade students all the best as they journey on to new places. Eighth grade graduation is a time for celebration and reflection on the impact faith-based education has made on each student, and parents proudly see their child as the St. John Vianney Graduate:

• A believer formed in the Catholic Faith

Community

• An effective communicator

• A reflective and creative thinker

• A self- directed, responsible, life-long learner

• A collaborative contributor to society who

finds meaning, dignity and vocation in work

• A caring family member

• A responsible citizen

I take this opportunity to congratulate all students of St. John Vianney parish School! I wish you all a very happy, safe and enjoyable summer. Please be sure to take time as a family to talk, play, and pray together.

I look forward to seeing you all in September.

Blessings,

Kristine Hider

Principal

Letter from our Principal

Welcome to St. John Vianney School

Thank you for visiting our website. We are very proud of our school and our students. That’s because we believe that St. John Vianney (SJV) is a special place—one that provides the qualities a student needs to develop a strong foundation for life.

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. Our hope is that you’ll explore our website and come away with an understanding of the dynamic community that makes us so very different from other schools.

As you decide what the best school is for your child, we encourage you to contact us to arrange a tour while classes are in session. There is no better time to see what a wonderful place St. John Vianney is.

Blessings,

Mrs. Kristine Hider, Principal

School Calendar

Welcome to

St. John Vianney

At St. John Vianney School, we strive to create a school community grounded in Jesus and His way. Because we are Catholic, our chief purpose is to communicate the Good News, that we are deeply loved by Jesus who lived, died, and rose that we might live. Since we believe In His total and unique love for each person, we aim to help each member of this faith community to recognize his/her potential. Through the examples of our deeply Christian teachers and the cooperation and support of concerned and interested parents, we demonstrate to our students the value of membership in our community of believers. Parents of our children have freely chosen to be involved with their child(ren) in this Catholic school, and therefore assume a partnership with the school faculty and parish community.

Our mission

The mission of St. John Vianney School is to provide a faith community that fosters the academic, religious and moral development of all students. We strive to make education a positive, successful experience that will promote life-long learners. As a faith community, we share the life of Christ and demonstrate respect and concern for all persons.

This school environment will prepare students for effective, responsible living and leadership in the 21st century..
